A consistent top-producing luxury global real estate advisor in the Lake Norman region, Marzia Mazzotti is a premier Waterfront & Lifestyle Property Specialist with Premier Sotheby's International Realty. As a resident of Cornelius and the exclusive Peninsula neighborhood since 2005, she doesn't just sell the lake lifestyle; she lives it every day. Her deep community roots, local market expertise and passion for the region give her clients an invaluable insider's edge. Licensed since 2006, Marzia has closed more than 200 home sales around Lake Norman, including more than $86 million in sales over the past five years. Her closed sales include waterfront estates on Belle Isle Drive, Mainsail Pointe Drive and Harbor Light Boulevard, and she is RealTrends Verified as a top-performing agent in the Charlotte/Lake Norman region. In 2023, her sale of 17605 Spinnakers Reach Drive in The Peninsula closed at $3.8 million, about $900 per square foot, a record for the neighborhood at the time, as reported by Cornelius Today. In July 2025, she was featured in Mansion Global, the luxury real estate publication from Dow Jones, as a local expert on Davidson and Lake Norman living. Marzia works with buyers and sellers across The Peninsula, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Huntersville and Denver, with particular expertise in lakefront and golf communities such as The Peninsula, The Point and River Run. Born in Switzerland and raised in Italy, Marzia built her first career as a global sales export manager, handling accounts across Europe, Asia, South Africa and the United States. After meeting her husband at a trade show in New York City in 2000, she moved to Atlanta and, in 2005, to Lake Norman, drawn to open waters that remind her of the Adriatic coast. That background shapes how she works today: creative marketing, professional staging and photography, global exposure through Sotheby's International Realty, and refined, patient negotiation. A Certified Relocation Professional who speaks Italian as her native language and is fluent in Spanish, Marzia is a natural partner for families relocating to Lake Norman from across the country or overseas. Marzia gives back through Continuing the Mission, which provides fully trained assistance dogs at no cost to veterans in North Carolina, and supports Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, donating a portion of her commissions to its work with people with disabilities. Outside of real estate, she is an avid wakeboarder and wakesurfer who spends the warm season on the lake with her family and her golden retriever, Foxi. Her proudest accomplishments are her two children: Stefania, a Division I track and field athlete and Army ROTC student at Davidson College, and Christopher (Kiko), a Duke University alumnus completing his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine.
