Liz Nason is a born and raised New Englander from Wayland, Massachusetts. Her passion for real estate started at a young age as she grew up in the industry, the daughter of a well-known custom contemporary homebuilder in suburban Boston. Liz moved to Sarasota in 2001, looking for a better quality of life and climate after a 7-year career in human resources in New York City. A disciplined professional who enjoyed the process of finding the right position for the right employee in New York, Liz applies those same skills and care when researching, marketing and selling a property or finding a home for her buyers. "After 23 years of selling real estate, I feel my strength is my ability to adapt to what my customer needs," says Liz. "I'm able to shift gears from selling a condominium downtown to finding a waterfront home or helping an investor find a rental property for a portfolio." Specializing in marketing vintage homes, Liz is passionate about Sarasota's deep heritage and sharing the story these magnificent homes have to tell through the generations. Researching archives at the courthouse, online and connecting with local genealogists, librarians and researchers at county historic centers are just some of the tactics used by Liz to make history come alive. Whether it is midcentury-modern, Sarasota School of Architecture, Florida Vernacular Architecture or Mediterranean Revival style, she can help buyers and sellers navigate what can be a bumpy ride when dealing with city/county regulations - as well as how to maintain and improve these homes so that they continue to be preserved and pristine. No matter the price point, Liz delivers the same level of service and energy to all of her customers. She has a stellar reputation as a dedicated real estate advisor, with 95% of her business stemming from referrals by former customers. Additionally, she is well-respected by other REALTORS® and known for cultivating lasting relationships. Liz is a member of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee and is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist. She has been voted a Five Star Agent for the past 19 years and continues to weather the storm of an unpredictable real estate market. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She enjoys shopping at the Downtown Farmers Market on Saturdays, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Harry, a petit basset griffon vendéen.
