According to Leslie Capozzi, building a successful real estate business all comes down to two things: Attentiveness and action. Hailing from California where she started and built her expertise as an agent for six years, Leslie’s proven strategy with customers is to listen intently while delivering knowledgeable insight directed toward their goals. She believes the best way to build a healthy business is by forming relationships that lead to referrals. Carrying this practice and her years of real estate expertise, paired with a strong background in sales and service from the corporate world, Leslie is excited to relaunch her career on the Gulf Coast.

Leslie is a natural go-getter whose drive is powered by a willingness to try new things, being outgoing and standing by what you say. When giving her word, Leslie commits wholeheartedly to seeing it come to fruition. This has served her well throughout her life, from being a single mother to owning a pet store prior to real estate, and to even other paths she has ventured in sales in the engineering industry. Having moved to Sarasota two years ago – her love of beach living is what guided her here – Leslie’s passion for the area, the community she lives in and to fuel her drive for helping others motivated her back into real estate and to Michael Saunders & Company. A sharing of values and deep-rooted community involvement connected with Leslie, and she knew this was the company for her.

An avid nature and animal lover at heart, Leslie is dedicated to environmental causes and volunteered tirelessly in California with Pregnant Mare and the Humane Society. She belongs to several organizations that are founded on giving back to those in need, including Sertoma. Leslie was certified in California for C.E.R.T., as well. Leslie earned Rookie of the Year in California and Sales Person of the Year in Colorado for the time she lived and worked there. Being outdoors is where you can most likely find her when she isn’t with customers. Leslie enjoys gardening, biking, swimming, traveling, scuba diving and the beach. She has also written a few unpublished children’s books and spends most of her free time with her son, Jeffrey who lives in the area, and her pets; dogs Kona and Sienna, a bearded dragon, a 50-lb Sulcata tortoise named Bruno, and some chickens.
