Plain and simple, Laurie McGuire is a go-getter. Case in point, though she's a seasoned veteran now, the hard-charging agent won Rookie of the Year and was a Top Producer her first year in real estate. (She is also a 3rd degree-black belt in Tae Kwon Do, does musical theater, is a 12-year breast cancer survivor and more - but that's a whole ‘nother biography). Laurie graduated from Kent State University with a degree in nursing and served patients in the ER. Her life motto, "People Matter Most," was exemplified not only in every interaction there, but in every interaction thereafter – personal or professional. Following a decade as VP of Retail Sales where she honed her negotiating skills, she wanted to get back to a place where she was truly helping people. Real estate felt most like a natural extension of that passion.  Her integrity, energy, hard work and creative service is evident in every step of a real estate transaction. From first phone call to closing, count on Laurie to listen to your needs, understand your wants, pay close attention to details, effectively communicate and be there to guide you. Laurie has earned two designations from Institute for Luxury Home Marketing: Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™ (CLHMS) and Million Dollar GUILD. The extensive training imparted the knowledge, experience and skill set required to meet the unique needs of this segment of buyers and sellers. Jim McGuire is her teammate at work and in life. Married 30+ years, they have three children and six grandchildren they adore, and enjoy playing golf and traveling together.
