We happened to call Bernice Babel regarding a listing. We saw immediately, and time confirmed, that she was exactly the agent we needed: professional, knowledgeable, engaging, candid, resourceful and kind. We visited probably 30 properties in about 18 months of searching. She met us onsite many times. She was as committed to helping us find the right property on the 30th site as she was on the first. We were outbid on several and others fell through due to no fault of our own. However, Bernice was unflappable, encouraging and always committed to helping us find the right property. We have even contacted her after the closing. She was still willing to be helpful. Over the years we have completed at least nine real estate transactions and have interacted with dozens of agents. Bernice is clearly in a class by herself. If we purchase more property in the Mecklenburg area (or anywhere else, for that matter), our first call will be to Bernice.
