In Spring of 2005 my husband and I began to discuss moving to a larger home. While we loved our first home in the Arborlea section of Lower Makefield, life with two teenagers in a 1.5 bath house had become challenging. Unsure of our commitment to move we were hesitant to engage a professional real estate agent. After expressing this to my dear friend, Amy VanDenburgh, we began a conversation around what our family would ideally like, what we can afford and what is important to us. Over the next several months we went to open houses to determine what we did and didn't like. There was never any pressure to make a decision. It was always a case of 'A nice house is on the market if you want to take a look.' While away on business, my husband and daughter took a look a a recent listing in the area we were interested in. They loved it! Fast-forward three months...Amy sold my first house in three days (above asking) and had us settled into the new digs with perfect timing. Since then Amy has sold my parent's home, my mother-in-law's home and has been an invaluable resource to the rest of my crazy family's questions concerning real estate. I would use no one else in any matters real estate. Louise Rubinstein
