Lucky us, finding Nicolette and Marlene! Having retired and moved out of state, we dreaded the day we'd have to return to get the house updated, prepped and sold. At a very challenging time, with challenging conditions in the neighborhood and market, we worried about the effort, and the process of managing contractors to get the house ready. We finally dove in, apprehensive but eager to sell, and started looking for a realtor. What happened next was the clouds parted, an angel descended from the blue sky, waved her arms and in the blink of an eye, the house was sold. High energy, but down to earth - how did we manage to get so lucky? Nicolette made everything so easy. A huge bonus is that Nicolette is the field general of a valuable team of professionals, all of whom respect her, eager to do a great job for her. She called on her team of landscapers, painters, flooring, plumbers, general remodeling, cleaners, and haulers, then others for staging, photography, open houses, appraisals, inspections, escrow, notary, offer packets, title, and final closing work - it's all covered, and all very reassuring, saving us much time, money, and contractor management hassles. While others were having trouble lining up contractors, Nicolette's army was always available and flexible, which speaks to the excellent relationships she has with her team. Coming into this, we had many ideas about what should be done to the house. Lucky for us, Nicolette had even better ideas, and boy are we glad we went with her suggestions! We discussed ideas and plans, and she then magically made it all happen, on an incredibly quick timeframe that was much faster than we had ever dreamed possible. She made it possible for us to come back to town for just a short time to deal with our possessions and then leave, while she took care of everything else. For us, we were in and out in just 10 days, that's it! What a giant relief! Ecstatic with the final results, we got many compliments from our friends who saw our remodeled house in the very high quality pictures posted online. Styles, colors, changes, improvements that we would never have thought of, turned out to be perfect for our house and our budget. All of her ideas benefitted us in the final results. Advising us on the cost side, we feel our remodel money was well spent, paying for the things that would help sell, and avoiding things that would not have mattered much. The staging and open house events were planned and executed well, generating lots of interest. Website views of our house quickly piled up into the thousands, and when it went on the market, there were multiple offers immediately, with a bidding war and automatic raises. Fun to watch, it was over so quickly - our heads spinning, mouths grinning. I can't tell you how happy we are with the whole process - a very positive experience, where everyone involved, including the buyers, have been satisfied with the results and how smoothly everything went. Oh, and did I mention we ended up selling for $300,000 more than we expected? An incredible accomplishment - and we're still shaking our heads in disbelief. We kept saying to each other "Nicolette has made this all so easy!" Lucky for us, we found Nicolette, but of course it would not have happened without a positive referral from another happy customer. I sincerely hope that our experience will lead to yet another positive experience for the next lucky customer to hire this knowledgeable, creative, personable, and hard working team.
