Where do I start? Right from the beginning, when I reached out to Ashley and expressed my interest in finding a new home for me and my young son, Ashley jumped with excitement to get to work and help us. Being a single father on a single income isn't easy when it comes to gaining the trust of landlords, no matter what income you show on paper. Ashley literally fought for us to make sure we got not just a yes, but a yes to a home we would love and could lay down our roots in. She kept up with calls, emails, and texts promptly, always with a smile and enthusiasm.
What I appreciated most was her warmth and kind spirit, which I needed on a few occasions when I was feeling down after a number of rejections. She picked my spirits back up and said, "Let's fight on — this is nowhere close to being done!" And we did it. It was probably one of the best calls I've ever gotten in my life, hearing Ashley cheering and full of joy, sharing the news that we got accepted.
Her generosity didn't end there. She surprised me with some wonderful items for the new home and some new toys for my son's play area. It literally brought tears to my eyes, and I can't thank her enough. You need someone in your corner who understands this isn't a transaction or a sale — these are people's lives, homes where they'll laugh, cry, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Ashley gets it, and as I sit at my dining table in our new apartment, I want to say I wouldn't be here without her.
Thank you, Ashley. Please reach out to her so she can fight for you too, and celebrate with you when it's all done!
