Subject: Moving to a new area and home A few years ago, after my wife and I retired, we made the decision to move back to Washington to be close to family. Finding a home that would meet our unique needs would take some time. Specifically limited or no stairs, wide hallways and doors to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs, open concept living, dining and family room and a descent size backyard. We became acquainted with Tresie Wiersma a real estate agent covering Bellingham and surrounding areas via another agent Andrew Kim. Tresie was able to find a nice selection for us to view but in the end it was a home not yet on the market that was perfect. Tresie had worked with the owners previously and in passing said they were thinking of relocating to Eastern WA. They were kind enough to allow my wife to view the home several times. They finally decided to sell and we moved in within a few months. Tresie also assisted with the selling of a family home in Blaine. Once staged it was on the market a few days before offers started to flow in and was sold by the end of week. Tresie has the local knowledge, experience and history required to ensure that both sellers and buyers are not frustrated and have a smooth transaction. Buying and selling documents command attention to detail and she made sure ever “I” was dotted and “T” was crossed. We plan to use her again for our next family real estate sale.
