Originally from Tennessee, Tiffany moved with her family to Florida in the mid-90s. She went on to attend the University of Florida, from which she graduated with a bachelor's degree in decision and information sciences, earning high honors. Tiffany was accepted and continued furthering her education in the graduate program offered by the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida where she earned a master's degree in business with a specialization in computers. Because of her scholastic excellence, Tiffany was one of only 10 students selected from the entire college of business to represent the university throughout the community. While at the university, she had the opportunity to intern with Fed/Ex in their software testing department and participated in General Electric Corporation's mentoring and development program for college students showing promise and interest in a career in IT, business or management with GE. Tiffany moved back to Sanibel and Captiva with her husband and business partner Jeff directly out of college, where she became a valued member of the Burns Family Team. Tiffany's educational background in computers has been an invaluable resource for the family real estate business and one of the reasons why the Burns Family offers one of the most comprehensive online marketing programs for their valued customers. Always continuing to grow her professional repertoire, Tiffany completed the additional education programs necessary to earn the professional designations of Sanibel and Captiva Island Specialist and Certified Negotiation Expert. While Tiffany has been a part of the Burns Family Team, their island real estate business was the top-producing team for another prominent brokerage, voted Best Real Estate on Sanibel and Captiva an impressive three times, has been perennially one of the top-producing teams in Southwest Florida and was the number one team for Sanibel and Captiva sales in 2014. Tiffany's skillset and professionalism help make the Burns Family one of the premier real estate teams in Florida. Tiffany and Jeff are raising their daughter on Sanibel and Captiva. In her free time, she enjoys jogging the island's beaches and bike paths, boating with her family and spending time at the beach. She also finds time to be involved with the community and has volunteered for local charities and organizations such as FISH, CROW and the Sanibel School.
