I stopped Erinand explained we did not have a problem, Erin Etheredge represented me, and she had a challenge.This may be why my daughter warned Erin about me.The developer through a significant problem of their creating had sold us a lot that they could notbuild the contracted house upon because of a storm drain that would be under the house and notpermitted by code. Later that day Erin called and told me the developer had o􀆯ered some workablesolutions for us to consider. Together with my wife, Erin and I agreed to a countero􀆯er with a minoradder that the developer accepted. I never doubted that Erin Etheredge would resolve thedeveloper’s problem to our satisfaction while we enjoyed New Orleans with old friends.The biggest contribution to the new home by Erin came during our final inspection. Erin had pushedme a little to accept an inspector that I thought was a little costly, Erin’s knowledge and experiencecame through. Our inspector found load bearing walls framed with 2x4’s that should have been 2x6.The developer as expected insisted the framing was ok. Erin and her recommended inspector stoodfirm, cited the code, and o􀆯ered to call the county for a ruling. The developer decided to replace theframing with 2x6. Closing proceeded smoothly.Would we recommend Erin Etheredge as a seller or buyer’s agent?Absolutely Yes without any hesitation.More importantly Erin Etheredge will be the person we call if we decide to move.
