I began looking for a home in Quonochontaug in 2020. The market was booming and there was limited inventory. Despite that, Ray would call to check in with me every 2-3 months, say hi, share his perspective on market dynamics, was transparent with me around what he thought fair valuations were, and was genuinely interested in my family and getting to know me. As a result of that and, due to his relationships, when he contacted me and said "i may have a home that's a good fit for you, but it may not be", I trusted him. And best of all, he didn't oversell it to me. He told me what it was (and wasn't), was knowledgeable about all the ins and outs (e.g. electric heat, construction date, cosmetic changes required) and shared his perspectives on the opportunity. Furthermore, he listened to me. I was very "ridgid" with what I was willing to pay and was transparent in what I was and was not willing to concede, and he respected that, playing within the boundaries that I had set. Finally, he was responsive, and ALWAYS available to me when I had questions. Never once did a phone call go unanswered or not responded to within that same day. This differentiates Ray; in a world where everyone's busy, he found time to speak to us on all the minutia that was likely an annoyance to him, but mattered to us. I'd work with Ray on all my real estate needs in the future, and would HIGHLY recommend Ray to anyone looking for a trusted adviser to support their real estate needs. -Roy & Courtney Gibbs
