Paul, I hope this review actually does reach your desk for your eyes to read. I worked and watched Phoebe Schreiner for a year on Instagram before I decided to hire her to sell my home. My husband who passed away was a real estate appraiser. I have four realtors in my neighborhood and I am in a town that is about 40 minutes from where Phoebe resides. As I shared with Phoebe, I am in insurance and believe that realtors like insurance people are a dime a dozen. I like to think I am an exceptional insurance broker and I was looking for the same with the realtor I hire. In this market in Connecticut, any realtor can throw a sign on the front lawn of the property and sell it but I wanted something different and something more. Like all homeowners I felt like my house was worth a bazillion dollars😊 I needed someone who knew how to optimize the product I was asking them to sell on my behalf - and get me every penny I can. After helping my husband and his business years ago and having purchased and sold my previous homes, I felt I knew and understood the market a little better than the average person. Having said that I admit in this market, I was very uncomfortable around pricing. I’ve watched real estate for a very long time and Phoebe came in around 25K higher than I thought I would sell the house for. She ended up selling it 75K over asking which was 100K higher than I thought I would get. Her grit and her tenacity were amazing. So much so, my husband of four years has chosen Phoebe to sell his home as well – and she is a solid 1-1.5 hours from where his home is. I’m in sales so I can identify the traits of sales people rather quickly. Phoebe did not come into my house and throw a crazy number at me so that I would get excited and sign on with her. She was realistic and sincere. She really killed herself to sell my property. If I recall correctly, she had 25 private showings on a rainy Sunday that started at 7:30 AM and went to 7:30 PM. She returned the next morning for seven more showings. Yes, it’s a nice problem for a realtor to have, but it is a tremendous amount of work, all the while keeping us informed. Her professionalism is second to none - she is exceptional. Obviously you judge your realtors based on numbers, but I would highly suggest taking a deeper dive into the traits that Phoebe has that can be duplicated, that can be taught - and try to replicate that with new hires. In our opinion, those traits, along with her warmth and approachability and sense of humor is what makes her exceptional! My husband’s home has just gone on the market yesterday. The buyer of his home will be a very different buyer than my home - we have no doubt it will be an exceptional experience with the sale of his house, as well! Well Done Phoebe Schreiner!!
