Eileen worked with me when i originally bought my house in Rowayton 9 years ago and I was so impressed with her then that I asked her to sell my house 9 years later. What can i say, Eileen is excellent and highly recommended, she knows the market very well, has great contacts and went above and beyond to support me to sell the house when i was overseas. She is highly knowledgeable, professional and committed to her clients and explains everything with clear transparency. Highly recommended as someone to work with buying or selling your property.

From our first conversation to the day of closing, Eileen provided us steady, reassuring advice and guidance. In a process filled with anxiety, she constantly reminded us to let her do the worrying. She told us what to do, when do do it and, often, whom to do it with. We could not be happier with her hard work and professionalism.

Eileen was the ultimate professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She saved us tons of time and money in the process and gave us valuable guidance and advice along the way. The value of what she does cannot be quantified! Strongly recommend!

Eileen was just fabulous. Always planned our trips and prepped me with the details before viewings. A great voice of reason when considering a property. Attentive during run up to closing and remarkable after care.

Eileen is the absolute best real estate agent. She was on top of every detail, was responsive in the extreme and went far and above the call of duty. She is a star and Sotheby’s is lucky to have her.

Just a note to those of you at Sotheby’s/William Pitt to let you know what a delight it was to work with Eileen Murphy this past spring.  We were downsizing from a large home in Litchfield County and wanted a smaller unit with a water view.  Eileen understood what we were looking for and several months later found us the perfect location.  She does a great job of listening to her clients needs and does not waste time showing properties which do not meet the clients objectives. Having a good understanding of her industry she is able to determine a fair market value of the property and then negotiates effectively with the seller’s agent. All our questions were immediately answered and now even after our closing has taken place Eileen is available to help with resources in the area or any other information we need. I would not hesitate to use Eileen as my listing agent in the future if I were selling a property.

Eileen Murphy is the consummate professional, guiding me through both, the sale of a house and the purchase of a condo. Her attention to detail, tenacity and depth of knowledge all complement her fresh wit and hands-on helpfulness. A good listener and communicator, she is a credit to your firm and the second Sotheby's agent I have worked with. In 2013, Mary Lyons of the Rye Office was a force to be reckoned with regarding the sale of your previous home. Sharing many of the same traits as Eileen, she made the transaction incredibly easy and quick. I expect to be a Sotheby's customer for life.
