It was a great home buying experience. Carole helped walk me through the whole process as a first time homebuyer. She was great at finding places that worked for me.
Carole was great and fun to work with. She explained the process (both buying and selling) as we went along. I had complete confidence she would find me a house and get my now old house sold.
The previous owners of my new house were to leave all of the window hardware and dressings but left me with totally bare windows. Carole wrangled a reimbursement check for my new home to cover this.
Carole provided me with recent comparable home sales in the area. She suggested a listing price and after looking at the comps, I decided that was a good number - not too high and not too low. Well, Carole was bang on the listing price. My house sold the first day it was listed for full price, Maybe I should have priced it a bit higher? I will never know. But we both had agreed on the price, the buyers were qualified, and the closing was just several weeks after the offer. And I am happy!
Based on what I experienced with the realtors who listed my new home and sold my now old home, Carole was a dream. I think their clients got short-changed on what a realtor should be doing for them, particularly behind the scenes, while I was appraised of everything throughout the whole process. A few problems came up and Carole quickly resolved them. I was in good hands! Carole's, not Allstate's.
Carole, was willing to step in and assume the role as my realtor after I had dealt with very unfair toxic situation with a prior realtor. She gave clear guidance, was very professional.. and more important than anything ,she showed a caring spirit and went above and beyond.. when obstacles arose. I highly recommend this realtor to anyone that is in need. She will get the job done and keep you informed every step of the way. She does not pressure you into decisions to benefit her. She offers guidance and always want to do the best for her clients and everyone involved. Carole, thank you for your courtesy and professionalism. Your one of a kind!
We were absentee sellers living out of town, and feel like there could have been a little more attention paid to the staging of the home. We had a renter who cleaned things up and made the beds, but we believe a little more work on the staging would have presented a much better home and gotten us a better offer. Also, we had to reach out to get updates and communication instead of having regular communication from the agent.
Carole Collyard of Reece Nichols went above and beyond anything you could ever expect your realtor to do, arranging for necessary repairs, holding multiple open houses, and personally delivering and assisting my father in executing the listing, sale and closing documents. A true professional who gets the job done in challenging circumstances. Bravo.
