My husband, Don, and I were introduced to Karen thru our friend Karen Powell. We first met Karen back in April 2005 in search of a home as we were moving from Florida to Texas. After giving Karen all of our specific interests in a home, she immediately made us feel like we were her most important customer. Although we did not find a resale home that we liked, Karen hunted down our dream home. We built a new home for the first time and Karen was with us the whole way. She was a part of our team. Even down to the wire on closing date, Karen stood to our defense when we were told that there would be a delay on closing due to a "right of refusal" clause regarding our pool. We closed on that day. The better part of this letter is that exactly 1 year later, April 2005; we put our house back on the market as we were homesick for South Florida. We didn't get one offer with another agent. Why we didn't call Karen, I truly don't know. But a realtor knocked on our door and offered us a 4% commission to take the listing. So, again, five (5) months later, we averaged about 4 showings a week, got two (2) offers on the house and both fell thru, All reasons of a "junior" agent. The light finally came on and we called Karen. Within weeks, we had a contract on the house. This was not a clean offer by any means. But I tell you, it took the knowledge, professionalism, the expertise, and the desire, the hunger to close of Karen Marti-Hale to make the offer stick! Without a doubt, the other agent would have lost the sale because of the lack of all of the above. Karen solicited our house properly, kept us informed almost every other day. There was never a question on what her efforts were in getting the house sold. Karen, thank you for being the most consummate professional. Your desire to exceed shows in everything you do.
