After serving sixteen years as the Director of the Beaver Creek Club, Bradley Tjossem has returned to his roots in real estate, joining the sales team at SSF's Park Hyatt Hotel in Beaver Creek located in the Village next to the Black Family Ice Rink. Bradley's association with the Vail Valley stretches back to 1968 when, as a student of Western State College in Gunnison, he often skied the-then new resort to the north. In 1972, he enrolled in University of Denver's pre-law program, but spent all of his free time in Vail. Bradley soon succumbed to the lure of the valley and, upon graduation, moved to Vail permanently. Working first at traditional resort hospitality jobs, he was soon tapped to help operate Vail Associates' massive food and beverage operation on Vail Mountain. But gradually Bradley gravitated toward real estate and real estate development. In 1983 he earned his real estate broker license and then teamed up with longtime Vail developer, Andy Norris, to successfully create Vail's Cascade Village neighborhood, anchored by what is today the Cascade Resort & Spa. But the hospitality industry remained in Bradley's veins. When Vail Associates offered him the opportunity to open Beano's Cabin, Beaver Creeks exclusive on-mountain restaurant and club, he jumped on the opportunity. That decision proved fateful.. The Beaver Creek Club was being formed at the time and Beano's was the first member amenities. Bradley successful launch of Beano's led to his being the directors' position of the entire Club. During his tenure, the Club rose to set the standards for the ultimate year-round mountain resort model. Bradley's three decades in the Valley also produced a family. Wife Susan, whom he met when she was a ski instructor, went on to become vice president of Resort Services for Vail Resorts before joining the Booth Creek Holdings resort development company. Today Susan and Bradley are parents of 2 wonderful and successful children, Jenna and Bergen. In his leisure time, Bradley enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, sailing, raising horses (they now have a herd of two) and studying Colorado History. He also has been a Colorado outfitter and guide for 12 years.
