On December 7, 2023, I approached Ardella about selling the first house I had ever owned. I went into this process fully expecting it to take at least six months, and I was determined to get a price that not only could I live with, but one that I could be happy with as well.
Since this was my first house and it held great sentimental value for me, Ardella understood and sympathized with the grieving process of letting it go. She not only helped me understand the market conditions and the challenges, but the advantages of selling in my neighborhood. The house needed some work, and I was adamant about selling it in an “as is” condition. She did her due diligence and presented all offers, including those she knew that I would reject outright. For those offers we entertained, (I say we because she makes it a collaborative process), we discussed the pros and cons of each and I ultimately made the decision.
What I appreciated most is that Ardella helped to navigate all of the technical and required tasks from posting a ‘For Sale” sign out front, placing the MLS listings, scheduling the open house, all the way through settlement and closing on February 22, 2024 .
