My husband and I had decided that we were moving into a retirement community near us that we had been considering. We called the retirement community and they suggested one of their preferred realtors from Long and Foster, Deborah Harari.
Deb came to our home, toured our entire place, and gave us tips for putting our home on the market. She was very thorough with her tour and subsequent questions and really LISTENED to what we had to say. Deb was right! The “Coming Soon” sign went up so word would go out to the realtor community, and anyone driving by our home. Deb scheduled an open house and we were all set. Because of her efforts and advocacy, our home did move quickly. When she called with the offer that first day, we were amazed that not only did we get our asking price but there were many extras that made the deal really good for us. There were some negotiations that happened prior to signing the contract and Deb represented us well and everything went very smoothly. We met with Deb the next day and signed the contract.
Deb was so very encouraging and positive during this entire process. If we were worried about something she would reply, “You are not to worry, I will take care of this,” or “I’ve got this.” She quelled any anxiety we had over the sale and all went very smoothly and quickly.
