Betsy helped us sell two homes in Jericho - most recently in 2017. Our first home sold quickly with multiple offers. She helped us price the home correctly to generate interest (we received over asking), helped with negations with the buyers, and held our hands all the way to closing. Last year we sold the home we built and loved. It was very tricky to price and market it correctly as it was more expensive than houses in the area, had no comparable (no original selling price, etc.), unique attributes (solar, radiant heat, etc.). Betsy brought in multiple broker’s in her office to look @ the property and provide feedback on correct pricing range. She then worked closely with us to agree on a price (higher than most of the brokers had recommended). She also agreed to try to put it on the market earlier (fall) than we planned on moving out (after school was over in June). Both of these went against the “rule of thumb” but she listened, told us the pros and cons, and ultimately listed the home in the off-season @ the price we wanted. She did a great job marketing the special attributes of the home and again garnered two offers and ended up with a price that was higher than her fellow brokers had expected. She is personable, professional, and responsive and highly recommended.

Elizabeth got to know me, listening to what I said and also what I did not say. She was able to read between my lines so when I was becoming dissatisfied with the house I had under agreement, we could look at one more house that turned out to be perfect. I was not pushed, but I was supported and she answered every question I asked; found out every detail I needed. To be more specific, I started looking for a condo with Elizabeth Fleming while my condo was being considered in a private sale. When the private sale turned difficult, Elizabeth Fleming helped me work through my frustrations. It was at this point that I listed my condo with her. Timing was important as I going on a month vacation out of the country, so I needed to sell with several months lead time. I was not ready to sell my condo without knowing what new property I wanted to buy. Elizabeth made it happen. Elizabeth Fleming showed my approximately 20 homes that either she recommended or that I found from her listing service and Zillow. I was willing to do some fixing up, so was looking for lower priced homes. She was patient, taking me to a foreclosed, vacant house that had been sitting empty for months so that I could realize the undertaking this type of house could be. I finally settled on a minor fixer-upper near my son's house and came to an agreement. As inspections finished, the owner was not willing to compromise on the needed changes. It was in the right place, the right size, etc. I went back to Zillow and saw a new listing, that Elizabeth immediately setup for me. It was over my decided limit, so I worked out the monies needed to bring the property under contract up and what the new listing cost. It was close. I walked into the new listing and new I was home. After looking around, I asked Elizabeth to help me get out of the old contract and into this new one. She was professional, thorough and efficient. Within 12 hours I had the new listing under contract and I love it here.
